Lights, Camera, ACTION !!!
Every great show needs either one of two things: guns and fighting. Many specialize in one, but we are going to mix it up a little to get experience in both gun and fighting movements. Getting the exact movements can be very difficult due to time requirements and costs, but I have some in expensive solutions.
Fighting
Seeing an intense fight scene can be very thrilling in its style and choreography. However seeing just any fighting will never beat seeing a unique fighting style (think Bruce Lee). So I have chosen the less popular style of an off chute of TKD, Hapkido, as the main fighting style for this project. Here is one of many Youtube videos showing the Hapkido techniques.
Many videos can be found over Youtube and it is best that you look for the videos that explicitly show you the movements. This will make it easier to animate. I have already created a model and animated it for the Hapkido fighting style. I will show you how to model and animate as we move further along, this is only a demonstration.
Gun Fighting
Animating for gun fighting can be very difficult but we will use two simple short cuts that will literally do the work for us. The most popular media featuring gun fighting are video games. And it just so happens that those games were made using the same software that we are using, and so their files are readily available over the Internet. Here are the two most popular from:
