Tips on Modeling

As I stated in the beginning, the main purpose of this site is to show that one can design a cartoon. So why should we use a 3d animation program to model? Well working in 3d allows you to animate much more easily and show angles of a character that you would otherwise have to draw. That is why I use the "Ink & Paint" feature to give it the deep cartoony sort of look. I first select a color, and then select black as the shader.

I almost never use the ink portion because Max doesn't draw the ink lines as well as I want it. Sometimes they are too thick or too thin, and its just not worth the hassle.
